Director of Product Management, Rooms-as-a-ServiceDescription -Director of Product Management, Rooms-as-a-ServiceResponsibilities Define modular CaaS service offering.Develop customer value proposition for HP CaaS offer and create sustainable HP differentiation.Develop new offering capabilities and strategic partners to grow the Service (Microsoft, Zoom, Service Now, others)Drive engagement with customers, sales and pursuit teams to drive adoption of CaaS framework and refine as needed.Define and develop critical management tools to support Managed ServicesWork with ST&A to develop needed Services Architecture, including ITSM capabilities.Define and document the value proposition, delivery capabilities, systems and tools required for a scalable CaaS model.Responsible for delivering HP insights for customers and partners while scaling of CaaS adoption in Enterprise customers.Will manage a small WSS team to integrate services and drive new service launches. Education and Experience Required Advanced degree strongly preferred. Typically 14+ years of experience in Services Portfolio Management or exhibiting an exceptionally strong background in some other relevant and applicable area of business. Typically 5+ years of people management experience. Knowledge and Skills This role requires a sound understanding of how IT services, especially managed services, are designed and delivered to large organizations with highly mature IT Service Managment expertise.Extensive business acumen, technical knowledge, and industry experience encompassing one or more collaboration, IT Services, and managed services domains.Experience in delivering against a Global P&L by directly and indirectly driving services product development, influencing services architecture design, enabling software roadmap definition and coordinating with operations teams in order to incubate and scale offerings.Track record of successful incubation and deep experience in engagement with IT teams to create customer relevant solutions. Ability to lead cross-functional teams Passion for entrepreneurship and business creation.Proven ability to lead and influence in a complex, multi-functional company.Experience managing teams with diverse skills - product management, technology architecture, software development.Executive presence and strong communication; ability to influence L2 and L1 leaders on strategy and operational areas; ability to influence teams across the organization to make things happen.Track record of building highly motivated and entrepreneurial teams Impact/Scope Owns and manages significant revenue targets. Responsible for the overall management of a service segment at the region or worldwide level. Typically partners with managers, VPs, and SVPs. Provides leadership on service portfolio strategy, roadmap development and execution. Complexity Typically manages senior individual contributors and managers. Works across multiple units business- or function-wide to deliver service segment solutions/programs. Per the California statute, the estimated range of compensation for this job in Palo Alto, CA at the time of this posting, is $200K – $250K. This position may be eligible for incentive pay, for openings where this is applicable.
