Privacy Risk AnalystDescription -This role sits in HP’s diverse Trust and Privacy team which is part of the Global Legal Affairs organization.  It leads the company’s strategies, policies and assurance for trusted and compliant digital experiences and personal data use. Partnering extensively with teams across the company from marketing and sales to software and solutions delivery and employee management functions, this group sets the direction and tone for HP's privacy network.  The Privacy Risk Analyst is the tactical manager of potential privacy risks identified by several discovery methods managed by Trust and Privacy, such as assessments of HP projects, business processes, applications, and vendors. Tasks will include the maintenance of a risk register, the monitoring of remediation plans, the influencing of action by risk owners, and the reporting of status to management.Responsibilities:This position is the operational owner of monitoring and driving progress on the remediation of prioritized risks.Initially they will follow established guidelines and exercise independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action.Over time, they will be expected to propose and drive process improvements based on performance metrics and stakeholder feedback.Education and Experience: Required:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Quality Management, Computer Sciences, Law or equivalent.A Privacy certification, such as CIPM, CIPT, CIPP-E, CIPP-US  Experience in Data Privacy or related compliance function, focused on risk management2- 4 years of relevant work experienceOptional, but preferred:Six Sigma or other Quality certificationExperience with Privacy Management Software, such as OneTrustExperience with Enterprise Legal Management solutions, such as ONITExperience with Governance, Risk Compliance (GRC) solutionsProject management certification such as PMP/PMI certificationFamiliarity with business process workflowKnowledge and Skills:Understanding of risk management practices and demonstrated operational experience driving progress with business unit and global function teamsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with Privacy controls frameworksExceptional teamwork and collaboration skillsMotivation to contribute and grow within a complex area of emerging importance.Excellent written and verbal communication skills (verbal, written and presentation); mastery in English and local languageStrong interpersonal skills with ability to drive action without authority.HP offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:•  Dental insurance•  Disability insurance•  Employee assistance program•  Flexible schedule•  Flexible spending account•  Health insurance•  Life insurance  Per the California statute, the estimated range of compensation for this job in that location, at the time of this posting, is USD 74,000 - 104,000 Annual.  This position may be eligible for incentive pay, for openings where this is applicable.Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity & InclusionWe are reinventing the standard for diversity, equity, and inclusion — in how we operate as a company and impact society.
