Retail Account Manager, PrintDescription -HP is looking for an energetic, talented individual with a desire to win with HP's key retail partners in the Canada marketplace. As a Retail Account Manager, the qualified candidate will have the unique opportunity to drive the overall business plan with key retail accounts in collaboration with both the retailer as well as key stakeholders within HP. Growth mindset and a winning attitude are but two elements that the successful candidate must possess. The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of selling within the Canada retail channel and a passion for winning with the retail partner.Responsibilities: Serves as the expert to the retail partner when it comes to HP product portfolio, promotions, and channel partner programs.Promotes HP offerings to become a key part of the retail partner's value proposition to the Canadian consumer.Establishes and maintains account plans to promote sales growth and win through the omni channels where the assigned accounts participate.Achieves assigned quota for HP products and subscriptions services.Transactional and relationship selling working within, and influencing, a team of selling professionals.Actively engages with a set cross-functional HP resources like Product Category, Marketing, Sales Operations and Supply Chain to to deliver a robust account plan aligned to short-term and longer term business opportunities with the assigned retail accounts.Provides the business rationale and risk assessment for making HP investments in the retail partner.Ensures partners are compliant with legal and Integrity at HP practices.Education and Experience Required: University or Bachelor's degree.Typically 8-12 years of selling experience at a partner level, preferably retail.Experience selling to Canadian retail electronics, club, or office products partners is an asset.Knowledge and Skills: Thorough understanding of the Consumer IT Retail industry, competing vendors, and the retail channel. Dimensions include competitive value proposition positioning and a deep appreciation of the key success factors as viewed by the retail partner.Thorough understanding of HP's organization & operations, including key business rules, and alignment with HP go-to-market strategies, partner segmentation, key programs & initiatives, structure and business model.Thorough understanding of HP's Consumer product portfolio. Able to communicate the strengths of HP's offerings relative to competition, and overcome objections.Effectively sells HP offerings by building strategic relationships with the retail partner decision makers; aligning retailer and HP processes; and promoting HP programs and offerings.Develops strategic plans with the retail partner to grow the size of the business and HP's share.Partners effectively with others in the account to ensure coordinated efficient account management.Coordinates and directs efforts across HP sales teams and across business groups.Job -SalesSchedule -Full timeShift -No Shift premium (Canada)Travel -50%Relocation -NoEEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
