DfSC EngineerDescription -We are seeking a Design for Supply Chain Expert with advanced subject matter knowledge to join our team. As a subject matter expert, you will apply your expertise to solve complex issues related to printer product design and it’s supply chain. You will frequently contribute to the development of new ideas and methods and work on complex problems that require an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.In this role, you will lead and/or provide expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. You will act as an expert and provide direction and guidance for process improvements, establishing policies, and making critical decisions that impact the success of the company.To succeed in this position, you should have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices, and be able to determine the best methods for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. You should also have excellent communication skills to effectively lead and collaborate with teams at all levels of the organization.Responsibilities: Supports and develops data tools to assist the team with the idea generation, tracking and communication process.Merges and cleans data across multiple sources to enable supply chain insight.Manage and foster relationships with internal partners involved in mechanical hardware design and development.Collaborate with contract manufacturers to align Design for Supply Chain concepts with their capabilities.Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for value engineering opportunities; provides tangible feedback to influence product design.Drive innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities within the mechanical hardware design organization.Provides guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members.Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical EngineeringTypically 6-10 years experienceKnowledge and Skills: Skilled in using Creo Elements/Direct Modeling and Model Manager.Experienced in Supply Chain management, including working with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and internal HP operations.Proficient in designing data visualization using tools like PowerBI.Capable of analyzing large data sets to identify trends and anomalies.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Adept at presenting and communicating ideas effectively to peers and upper management.HP offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:Dental insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insuranceOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $101,500.00 - $156,350.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity.
