You will have opportunities to build your business acumen, drive, and lead initiatives, and shape the future of how we engage with our partners on our Carbon Black products.We need someone who is a self-starter and can collaborate to drive initiatives that enhance our partners capabilities. This person should have strong Security background to work with our partner technical counterparts (pre and post sales) to drive technical enablement and understanding while also maintaining a strategy to help the partner build market differentiated solutions. Success in the Role: What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?The primary objective of this position is to help our channel partners build practices around Carbon Black technologies.Within 60 days, become competent with VMware's Carbon Black solution. You should be able to describe the use cases, the architecture, design decisions and best practices.Within 90 days have a solid understanding of our partner ecosystem, resources, contacts, and existing programs. You will begin working with designated partners to identify key stakeholders and establish relationships. Determine where a partner is in their Carbon Black and wider security strategy. Begin assisting partners in building capability and capacity through driving education, certifications, accreditation, and competencies.Within 180 days you will be the trusted advisor to the partner for Carbon Black. You will be able to capture and promote success partner deployments. Fully understand the partner's ecosystem and begin helping our partners build market differentiated solutionsThe Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? As part of the Network and Security Partner Solution Architect Team, you will:Enable a Partner’s technical teams on VMware Carbon Black products, provide technical oversight and assistance in design and implementation, ensuring partner success with their customers.Build effective business relationships with VMware Channel Partner technical leaders, engineers, and professional services, communicating the value of VMware Carbon Black products.Create and execute a practice development plan, working with partner business managers, other PSAs and channel resources to help accelerate partner accreditation and certifications.Advise partners in successful delivery services development and execution with their customersMaintain a cadence with partner practice leads to track progress and execution of services development, track deployments to showcase partner value and growthWork with partner Security engineers to help them understand the VMware Carbon Black technologies, enabling them on our technology.What is the leadership like for this role?
