Job Requisition ID #23WD69804Position OverviewAutodesk is seeking a highly analytical and strategic insights leader to join our worldwide marketing organization. As the Director of Audience Insights, you will be responsible for developing and executing an insights strategy to support our next wave of growth. You will partner with go-to-market stakeholders to understand their core business challenges, form hypotheses, and translate them into research and analysis requirements. Your team will design and execute studies to uncover actionable insights that inform our marketing strategy and help us grow and engage our target audiences. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the marketing landscape and a demonstrated track record of understanding and analyzing B2B customer behavior and preferences and using that knowledge to help drive high-impact business decisions.Responsibilities Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the priority audiences for our target industries through quantitative and qualitative research and analysis using first, second, and third party dataLead and mentor a team of researchers and analysts responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting audience dataDefine a portfolio of insight offerings and services to inform strategic decision making for our go-to-market leadersDefine and manage processes for our audience insights practice including project intake, capacity planning, and prioritizationEstablish best practices as a center of excellence, including developing a library of insights to streamline accessibility, and amplifying their impact through internal distributionContinuously improve our audience understanding by leading the ongoing evolution of our customer experience frameworks including personas, industries, job roles, and customer outcomesPartner closely with go to market leaders to understand their business questions, translate them into research requirements, and deliver insights to inform decision makingDevelop and implement audience measurement frameworks to track and analyze audience health and identify opportunities to improve audience engagementDevelop and deliver visually impactful reports and presentations that clearly communicate recommendations to leadership stakeholders and the larger organizationPartner cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams to drive projects and programs that have wider impact at AutodeskDevelop and maintain relationships with external research partners and vendors to stay abreast of new research and insights techniques and methodologiesMinimum Qualifications10+ years of professional experience, with domain depth in analytics, insights and market research5+ years of management experience leading highly analytical team members, preferably within a global remote environmentIn-depth hands-on knowledge of market research techniques (focus groups, interviews, community forums, online surveys, etc.), survey design, sampling plans and analysis, discussion guide creation, qual and quant research data analysis, data visualization, and business intelligence platformsExperience working with, analyzing and generating insights from B2B SaaS marketing and customer behavioral dataDemonstrated ability to integrate data from multiple sources and systems and distill it into insights and actionable recommendations for business leadersStrong executive communication skills (written and verbal) and experience influencing, unifying, and securing support from senior leaders as well as technical and non-technical cross-functional stakeholders in a large, matrixed organizationProven track record demonstrating initiative, accountability, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projectsExperience developing, maintaining, and governing strategic frameworks (e.g. audiences, personas, etc.)Ability to travel 20%, including internationallyA passion for data and analysis, with a curiosity to get to the root of a problem and solve itFamiliarity with the architecture, construction, design and manufacturing, and media and entertainment industries preferredMBA, advanced degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in Business Administration or a relevant Marketing field#LI-POST#LI-MK2Click below to learn more about our benefits in the US.https://benefits.autodesk.com/ At Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $171,700 and $277,750. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
