Your potential is waiting; why are you?We are seeking a Summer intern to join our People Analytics team to support our efforts in creating a data dictionary for our HR department and inputting it into Alation, a data cataloging tool. This internship will provide valuable experience in the field of HR analytics and data management.Responsibilities:Work closely with the HR and IT departments to identify and define key HR metrics (e.g. attrition, time to hire, employee experience index, DE&I) and data elements (e.g. hire date, continuous service date, termination date, promotion flag).Create a data dictionary that outlines the definitions and relationships between HR data elements.Input the data dictionary into Alation, ensuring that all relevant metadata is captured.Collaborate with the People Analytics team to identify data quality issues and propose solutions.Assist in ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed.Requirements:Excellent communication and collaboration skills: have confidence to collaborate with various groups within Genesys, collect information from them, as well as write up definitions for data dictionary based on the received input.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: comfortable with exploring HR and analytical systems (e.g. Workday and Tableau), as well as a curious mind to research back- and front-end data independently.Familiarity with HR data and metrics is a plus: candidate will have to systematize various concepts and areas of operations of Genesys HR (e.g. Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Employee Retention, Employee Engagement and Experience) and identify dependencies.Knowledge of data management principles and tools.Compensation Range:$19.86 - 28.74Compensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below.
