We are now looking for an Accounts Payable Manager! This role is based out of NVIDIA’s Global Resource Center (GRC) in Bangalore, India as part of the Finance team and reports directly to the GRC Finance Director. You will be primarily responsible to provide leadership support to GRC AP team members in their responsibilities related to processing of accounts payable transactions of various regions of the Group. This involves leading AP deliverables, driving process efficiencies by automation, ensuring compliance with SLAs/critical metrics, partnering with key collaborators and improving and nurturing a team focus on prompt and effective customer service.This position will be required to have demonstrated in-depth knowledge of a modern accounts payable function – including finding opportunities to implement standard methodologies and ensure continuous improvement of the AP function at the Company. This role will be required to maintain confidentiality and treat sensitive information with discretion, act as a role model for ethical behavior, and be an advocate of and follow Company policies. This role requires excellent people, communication and writing skills; be able to work collaboratively across various business units, regions and be self-motivated.What you'll be doing:AP Process & SystemsDrive improvements and automation where possible. Be a lead to implement IT solutions in the subject areas. Ensuring accurate and timely transaction processing using cost effective methods and be responsible for overall activities related to:Vendor invoices processing and paymentsGRIR reconciliationVendor open items management and ageing analysisVendor query mailboxHandling concerns from vendors and business team members promptlyMetrics and DashboardsSet measurable performance targets and take corrective measures to achieve and maintain those targets.Track required process or system improvement and drive implementation of same.Oversee preparation of periodic performance reports and account reconciliations and share regularly with team members.People Management and CommunicationLeading and developing a team of around 15 members, including training, managing workload, and establishing priorities.Share internal or external feedbacks with AP team on quality issues and working closely on improving quality.Provide thoughtful analysis and recommendations to business leaders to enable taking informed decisions based on trends, performance and future projections.Lead communication with internal team members and vendor regarding changes to process and system that may impact them.ComplianceEnsure all AP processes are SOX compliant on design and implementation and ensure all required documentation and walk throughs.Stay alert to new threats and trends in AP area and lead conversations on how AP team needs to mould and adapt in order to stay proactive.Responsible for appropriate TDS/TCS deduction/collections as required by tax laws and rules and filing of required returns on time.Support reconciliation of GST balances and lead follow-up with vendors for any mis-match.What we need to see:B.Com/MBA Finance or any other accounting degree with overall experience of 10+ years within a GRC or Shared service and excellent knowledge of AP processes with minimum 5-7 years’ experience of leading the process.People management experience of 5+ years requiring performance appraisals, coaching, and planning career development of team.Good knowledge of SAP S4, Open text, VIM and Coupa systems.Advanced excel, PowerPoint & Presentation skill.Experience in managing large number of team members with good collaboration, influencing and communication skills.Strong teammate with global approach, equally successful at working independently or in large groups.Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:Past experience of leading or managing AP process automation.Experience with treasury/banking requirement, travel & expense (T&E) and credit card matters.Knowledge of implementing or managing AP ticketing systems.Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills with ability to deliver under high pressure and managing complexities.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
