We're seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. We are looking for someone who sees the world differently and can create innovative and trustworthy technology for our customers. As a Product Designer, the three core functions will be user research (interviews/shadowing), design iteration (protos or mocks), and user testing and validation. We’re looking for a critical thinker and problem solver with a dedication to craft who enjoys collaborating with product management, engineering, and other designers to create intuitive, delightful, and innovative experiences. We are a diverse, 100% remote, team, and if you are looking for a stimulating and fulfilling role, come join us!What you’ll do:Lead and drive customer research through interviews, testing, and feedback sessions – via web and on-site (local and travel).Present designs, projects, and strategies to leadership teams across teams and organizations.Operate within a design pod with little to no supervision while understanding and adhering to the design organization’s design standards and systems.Ability to drive design direction through user data and competitive research.Design and manage multiple design systems (web, mobile, customer portal) with the ability to govern new items/requests for the systems.Design for more strategic long term company goals that have multiple company and customer impacts with higher risks.Build low-to-high fidelity prototypes for user testing and developer hand-offs while ensuring the design goals are met during UAT.What you’ll bring: 5+ years of experience in human-centered design with hands on experience throughout the process, from user research to developing prototypes and collaborating on implementation.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in human-centered design or a related field.A portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions across a breadth of business verticalsExperience presenting and telling a product’s story to leadership, clients, and key stakeholders.Experience in delivering wireframes, UX flows, mockups, interactive prototypes, personas and use case development is required.Ability to create, manage, and govern design systems for multiple product types (web, mobile, etc.)Ability and passion to understand distinct user groups quickly and distill complex needs into clean, understandable solutions.Understanding of information architecture, design patterns and interaction design.Work as part of a cross functional team, with users, product managers, and development teams to deliver business value.Familiarity and ability to promote usability testing and user research.Familiarity with Sketch, Studio, Craft, Invision, and/or Zeplin.Ability to listen and be receptive to user’s challenges and feedback.Being able to make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.Familiarity and ability to promote usability testing and user research.A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns.Where you’ll work: We’re 100% remote with HQ located in McKinney, TX.Be Human With Us:Being human isn’t about checking every box on a list.
