Job Description
The Sr. Manager of People Analytics will lead the People Analytics team and strategy that enables many of the HR and People Operations functions, as well as the broader business. They will lead consulting with HR and business leaders to help formulate business questions; conduct research studies to drive programs and policy change; maintain people metrics/KPIs; and manage the ongoing maintenance and development of our People Analytics technology roadmap. We are looking for a utility player to help develop strategy and set the foundation as we grow the People Analytics team, function, and offerings over the upcoming year. This position is remote-based within the United States.
What You'll Do
Develop Strategy and Manage a Team
Manage projects, design, delivery, and support for all people analytics projects
Develop and manage People Analytics roadmap and support services
Manage and develop a team of analysts
Design and implement a people analytics framework to enable the business to make better informed decisions using people data
Coach and oversee analysts in creation of advanced reports, dashboards and analytics
Serves as escalation point for issues and risks
Develop and execute multiyear education program for human resources
Lead in the delivery of people analytics strategies and goals that align with company objectives
Own and Manage Technology
Lead evaluation, implementation, and optimization of People Analytics tools
Accountable for technology solutions and system foundation design including data governance and management, integrations, and security
Creates & executes on technology education and adoption programs for end users and internal clients
Manage technology maintenance and upgrades; monitoring of integration(s) and compliance
Provide Consulting and Analysis Services
Apply wide-ranging experience in people research, quantitative analysis, data science, and data visualization to help Tripadvisor recruit, select, grow, and retain talent
See beyond the data to identify solutions that will raise the bar for all things people-related
Partner with the HR and recruiting teams to identify and clarify people issues, deeply understand our people processes, and analyze data to drive improvements
Perform modeling to provide senior leaders with insight into the potential impacts of new or existing talent management systems and processes
Develop and test hypotheses, design solutions, assess operational feasibility, lead implementation efforts, and develop monitoring plans
Communicate statistical analyses and results to technical and non-technical audiences
Consult, educate, and provide recommendations for data collection and presentation
Skills and Experience
4+ years people management experience within People Analytics function
5+ years project management experience
10+ years business experience, preferably in the HR domain
10+ years reporting and analytics experience
Expertise in Human Resources; People Analytics; and Organizational Psychology, Statistics, and Data Science
Experience conducting research studies, using data science methods, and writing code in R and Python.
Proven success developing People Analytics strategy; including foundations such as data governance and security models
Superior analytical skills including problem solving, attention to detail, and clear communication of complex analysis
Experience integrating with HR technology & datasets; specifically Workday, Greenhouse, ServiceNow, Qualtrics, Docebo, and/or CultureAmp
Excellent business analysis skills, including timeline planning, requirements definition and documentation, test planning, and deployment approaches
Exceptional written and verbal communication and ability to effectively tell a story with data
Ability to communicate effectively and influence at all levels within the organization
Leverages independent judgement in obtaining superior results
Experience with change management methods and programs
Experience with agile delivery practices and methodologies
The salary range for this role is $145,000 to $165,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An employee’s pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.
