YOUR MISSION
Mural is looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst to join the Payroll/Treasury/Accounting team. As a Senior Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for both payroll accounting and general accounting duties.
This role will be a critical member of the team and will report directly to the Associate Payroll Manager. As part of this role, you will be directly responsible for:
Preparing payroll accounting journal entries for Mural and other relevant accruals (variable compensation, paid time off) on a monthly basis
Ownership of payroll balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly and quarterly basis
Assisting in controlling benefit expenses together with estimating accruals
Entering and managing equity transactions in the company’s stock administration tool, with the goal of ensuring completeness and accuracy
Ownership of the company’s bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations
Assist with other general accounting duties (accounts payable invoices, payment of vendor invoices, reconciling inter-company accounts)
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration
3-5 years of professional experience in general accounting (general ledger, accounts payable), payroll accounting in international environments
Proficient with equity accounting and experience managing a stock administration tool is a plus
Excellent organizational, time management, and priority setting skills
Deadline oriented; able to work in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities
Flexible to meet changing priorities and the ability to prioritize workload to achieve on-time accurate results
Detail-oriented, self-directed, and able to effectively complete tasks with minimal supervision
You are use to working with globally distributed teams
Must have experience with a large ERP system, Netsuite is a plus
Proficient with Excel and Google sheets
English/Spanish social and communication skills (verbal and written), across all level
