Title: Accounting supervisor, eBay Payments ComplianceThis position holder will work in Singapore office with primary focus on ebay Payments business. Reporting line is GL manager based in Shanghai.Role and responsibilities:To manage key closing events for 2 ebay payments entities in Singapore and Australia, including review general ledger account balance and movement, check and explore any abnormalities and highlight to stakeholders for attention and action; To become a strong partner with business teams, in terms of engagement on key business initiative discussions, contributing input from financial perspective, financial modelling and enforcing financial process within payment entities; To provide comprehensive and prompt feedback/support on business requests where appropriate. To champion compliance process for those 2 payments entities, including annual statutory account delivery, statutory reporting (e.g. PSN04 in Singapore) and tax return filing; To partner with ebay payments finance communities across the globe to expand scope of support to ebay payments business; To partner with Corp shared service team associates to lead/own 1-2 GL towers and extend support to other ebay entities across APAC region.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree with 5 years working experiences in GL accounting/reporting/audit area, experience in financial service industry and statutory reporting is a plus; Strong communication and project management skills with both external stakeholders and partners and internally working across matrix structure, working language in English and bilingual language (ENG/CHN) is a plus; Strong people skills, good at organizing and presenting ideas, influencing others, etc.; Proficiency in SAP R3/HANA/BW, knowledge in Alteryx/Microsoft Power BI or other tool is a plus but not necessary; Strong analysis and evaluation skills by reviewing data/facts collected from various internal and external channels; Quick learning ability and strong curiosity to explore; Self-driven and excellent time management skills, can work under pressure and ability to work with remote supervision.eBay Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.  All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, and disability, or other legally protected status.  If you are unable to submit an application because of incompatible assistive technology or a disability, please contact us at talent@ebay.com.  We will make every effort to respond to your request for disability assistance as soon as possible.
