The Role
GoGuardian is seeking a Vice President of FP&A to build and lead the FP&A team through an organizational transformation which will more closely align Finance with the strategic imperatives of the Company. We are seeking a candidate who has broad FP&A experience with a focus on strategic planning and who is passionate about driving business outcomes. This is a key role in developing enhanced processes and systems across finance and cross functionally across the Company. A prime candidate has a proven track record of being a builder of organizations / processes and being a strategic business partner in a fast paced growth environment.
What You'll Do
Provide financial expertise and strategic business partnering to the executive team, helping to inform business decisions and strategy.
Ability to work with executive management on a strategic level and with business partners on a tactical level to establish meaningful, actionable metrics and to better manage the business and support profitable growth.
Drive robust annual financial and operating plan process that is aligned with company strategy.
Manage board and executive reporting and analysis, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and provide insight into key financial metrics to inform decision-making.
Drive data governance and leverage and extend current BI reporting environment and tools to create dynamic dashboards for both financial and KPI metrics.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Identify business process improvements, data deficiencies, reporting gaps, system limitations with the ability to differentiate between them and appropriately address and resolve the same.
Manage and mentor a high-performing finance team, including recruiting, training, and retaining top talent.
Develop and maintain relationships with key financial partners, including banks, investors, and auditors.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Proven experience in a finance, accounting, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Prior experience in or around private equity or a private equity owned business is a plus.
Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, including financial planning and analysis, accounting and tax.
Demonstrated ability to develop and improve financial processes and systems and manage financial operations.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate effective insights verbally and in writing to non-financial stakeholders at all levels.
Strong understanding of drivers and key metrics for SaaS businesses.
Capacity to deal with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment yet still deliver well thought-out and meaningful work.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and managed multiple stakeholders on high-visibility projects.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and mentor high-performing teams.
You are a builder; you enjoy the challenge of improving and developing processes and systems; you would be bored administering a perfectly run FP&A organization.
You believe that finance’s role is to help drive and facilitate business decision making.
You bring a strategic mindset but are also able and like rolling up your sleeves and getting things done.

The typical base salary range for this position is $255K - $259K per year. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base pay for this position and your pay will be determined by a variety of factors, including your primary work location, skills, qualifications and experience.
