We promote an inclusive atmosphere where your voice will be heard, and where you will be part of a fun, dynamic team working in partnership with each other.Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?The WWCC CoE Practice is working closely with WWPS (Worldwide Professional Services) team as well as with Telco Business Unit and customers to build and operationalize modern Telco platform by VMware.If you like to find solutions to complex problems in Telco industry, if you like to work on a dynamic multi-national team with possibility to make massive impact in the technology trends, then we would like to consider joining our team as a Telco Consulting Architect.In this role you will have a chance discuss in close contact with our customers about their plans and help them achieve their goals by designing modern software solutions for integration to Northbound and Southbound systems or MANO layer while automating their infrastructure processes in public or private cloud environments.You have expertise in NFV/K8s/GitOps.The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?· Participate or drive workshops drive understanding of customer’s business and technical objectives inside VMware while helping the Sales team build client relationships.· Act as Consulting Architect or Technical Lead in projects delivery of the CoE Consultants team.· Carry billable activities such as: technical contribution and guidance in project planning, lead in high level and low-level design, solution validation, impact analysis of change requests, etc.· Maintain a long-term relationship with customer and drive add on sales during delivery.· Drive efficiency in delivery model.· Help to customers to optimize their processes of lifecycle of the NFV service portfolio.· Work closely with Tech BU (Business Unit) to give field feedback on new product and roadmaps, and be the pioneer of learning, selling, and delivering innovative technologies to Telco customers.· We drive successful business outcomes for our customers and provide valuable insight to our product teams.· Solid hands-on experience in software development using OOP (Python, TypeScript, Java.
