Contribute to VMware Cloud on AWS strategic priorities by creating technical assets (blogs, videos, white papers) to highlight storage and security benefits, and technical differentiators of VMware Cloud on AWS. Well-integrated into the existing technical marketing group and the broader teamThe Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?VMware is looking for a Senior ​Technical Marketing Architect for VMware Cloud on AWS.  You will be called upon to leverage your skills and experience to educate technical audiences on the VMware Cloud on AWS service offering with focus on the storage and security.  You will achieve this through the development of collateral such as blog articles, technical presentations, demos, videos, and technical guides to empower our field, partners, and customers.This role will have a very strong emphasis on technical content creation – you will be expected to produce a variety of asset types in different levels of depth at a sustained pace. You will also be responsible for engaging actively with other teams who are the consumers of this content, and to refine and adapt your production to best suit their needs.  The research and testing required for the generation of this content will give you the opportunity to become a leading expert in the VMware Cloud on AWS offering and enable you to promote this offering at conferences and other industry events.The essential part of this role requires an expert level understanding of storage and security practices, and professional level with VMware hybrid cloud technologies.Requirements:Expert level knowledge of storage technologies, including FC, NFS, VMware vSAN.Broad understanding of security and compliance best practices applicable to cloud deployments. Professional level knowledges in VMware software-defined data center technologies, including vSphere, vSAN, NSX. Hands-on experience with VMware Cloud on AWS is a plus.Ambition to learn VMware hybrid cloud architectureUnderstanding of principles of AWS Cloud (storage, networking, compute)Exceptional presentation, speaking, and writing skills are a mustSelf-motivated and able to deliver on projects after being given high-level objectives4+ years of experience in technical marketing, pre-sales, professional services, or other customer or partner-facing roles with experience presenting to large and small audiences, both in-person and virtuallyTrack record of developing and delivering quality technical material aimed at educating customers, partners or sales teams in a variety of mediaWhat is the leadership like for this role?
