You will help them deliver against their key strategic initiatives and address multiple business and IT challenges. These initiatives span lines of business, applications, multi-cloud and digital workplace on a Global basis delivering creative and innovative solutions to drive their desired business outcomes. Further, you will have the opportunity to help one of the world’s iconic Telco’s operator to successfully virtualize and containerize their mobile networks, from the core (especially the 5G Core) through the edge to the RAN. What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?Required Skills:Proficient in enterprise solution selling including products, services, and supportExisting experience in VMWare technologyProficient experience in selling to large Telco and Service Providers within the United States and globallyExperience of B2B service creation for selling with/through Telco service providersAbility to collaborate with multiple groups globally to inspire alignment and executionStrong customer-facing and relationship building skills at the executive levelHighly trusted individual who maintains and expects high standards for self and teamConsultative selling skills and business awarenessAbility to see and present “the big picture” and offer solutions to drive business valueConsistent track record of successfully driving multi-millions of sales campaigns of solutions and servicesPrevious experience of selling 4G, 5G, RAN, OSS, BSS solutions to Telco service providers is a major plusThe GSC is responsible for the overall customer journey, influencing technology and innovation decisions to accelerate business outcomes. The GSC takes a consultative approach fostering deep customer relationships and long-term strategies. In close partnership with the GAM, the GSC inspires the vision and orchestrates the execution of extended team resources globally to drive results. Through all stages of the customer journey, the GSC maintains oversight: generating initial demand, creating a transformation strategy, validating complex solutions, demonstrating a tangible business case, and measuring value realization to the customer.You will have a high percentage of customer-facing time, collaborating very closely with the Global Account Manager (GAM) and coordinating the sales approach with VMware’s extended team (multi-disciplinary specialists and units across the world). You, as part of a high-impact solution driven technically orientated sales team, will be responsible for ensuring our best contribution to our customers’ success and business outcomes by facilitating a pervasive adoption of VMware Solutions.You will independently conduct and manage conversations, presentations, workshops and relationships with this customer. You might travel or conduct those customer and internal interactions through tools such as Zoom, Teams or Miro. When required, you will organize and coordinate PoCs with the customer and the relevant VMware teams and support and help coordinate high quality answers to Telco Cloud RFx. You will be able to understand the customer’s strategy, business objectives and organizational structure and can map technical and business goals to differentiated capabilities aligned to business outcomes.What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?You will be part of a team of Senior Global Solution Consultants, working on the largest Telco accounts. You will have frequent interactions with your Manager and with the core Account team assigned to your customer. However, you will have large autonomy on a daily basis with little formal reporting. You will be expected to share information with the rest of the team and can expect the team to help you when you have questions.Where is this role located?
