Which means your work is essential for transforming everywhere.Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?You will need to orchestrate territory coverage through effective collaboration, leadership, and coaching of internal team/ other specialists and external partners on how to identify, position, and close TANZU opportunities. You will work closely with top Executives/Sellers across the region.You will be expected to progress the strategic opportunities by bringing in right technical experts within VMware while ensuring customer executives buy in to our value benefit.The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?Accurately forecast Subscription bookings, specific products revenue, PSO bookings and new accounts on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis via Salesforce.comMeeting with and present to current and prospective customers as well as manage internal meetings and customer events.Increase customer mindshare through ‘Whitespace’ and ‘Wallet share’ selling motions in assigned geographies.Support and provide guidance to marketing events.Coordination within an internal set of multi-functional teams such as Systems Engineers, Product Specialists, Field Marketing, Professional Services, and Channel Management and external partners.What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?This role is part of Tanzu field team which drives sales and adoption of Tanzu portfolio within the region. The team consists of sales, solution engineers & customer success manager who work with common goal of helping customers modernise their applications. In this role, you will be required to lead Tanzu engagements  with key customers in the region while leveraging other team members technical skills as well as strategic partners in the region.You would report to to Tanzu Sales Director for India who brings 25+ years experience of selling complex solutions to large enterprises as well as mid market customers across the country. In addition, you would collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Director for your region.Where is this role located?Flexible: The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from a local VMware office and remote depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined with your future manager. You will be expected to live within a reasonable commute of the office.
