In this role, you will have responsibility for developing Windows Endpoint software for one or more of Carbon Black’s much loved security products. The ideal person takes ownership of developing features, ensuring quality and addressing defects reported by internal and external customers. You will be responsible for development of your components and coordinating end to end delivery of your and related components.You enjoy the success of your teams and take pride in developing your team members.Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?Within 30 days of employment, you will have completed onboarding tasks and become competent with VMware’s Security rules, guidelines, and standard operations.Within 90 days, you will have developed familiarity with the development processes of at least one of Carbon Blacks Endpoint agents. You will be taking up responsibility for enhancing and maintaining important initiatives for the product.Within 180 days your proficiency in development processes is strong and you are able to lead significant feature and product deliveries with ease.Within 360 days, along with the above, you are able to act as the lead for cross functional initiatives involving detailed coordination across multiple teams. You have played a key role in hiring, nurturing and retaining talent in the team.What type of work will you be doing? You will need excellent people skills to manage and drive a high performing team.What You’ll BringExperience in building and managing highly talented teams developing user and kernel level components on Windows & System Level development/ programming.Prior experience with C/C++, Sysinternals and Windows Enpoint Development.Experience in working with global teams and diverse and remote workforce.Domain expertise in Security/Cybersecurity is a great plus.Proven track record of high quality deliverables in a fast paced environment.What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?This role reports to the Director, Engineering and involves high collaboration with global and local cross functional teams. The team has highly experienced and seasoned talent.Where is this role located?This role is based out of Pune location and allowing you the flexibility to work into Hybrid model whichever you feel most productive and comfortable.
