The SaaS Billing team are committed to delivering world class operations at scale to enable an extraordinary customer purchasing experience. Our core responsibility is to get accurate invoices to our partners and customers on time, for all VMware SaaS offerings (Software as a Service). Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6 months you will work toward completing? You will successfully complete all onboarding activities and associated company trainings, familiarizing yourself with all systems, applications, and team/company policies as applicable You will successfully complete all assigned trainings and associated certifications to allow you to work independently in your assigned line(s) of business You will familiarize yourself with VMware and O2C BizOps strategies, vision and OKRs You will familiarize yourself with all applicable process flows and refer back to support documentation as needed You will interact with all cross-functional teams to support E2E processes You will meet KPI targets around Throughput, Speed and Quality The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? Handle high complexity billing and invoice creation for non-standard items Maintain SME (Subject Matter Expert) status for various SaaS billing focus areas Identify any billing discrepancies and follow up as needed Case and ticket management to ensure any pending invoices are resolved in shortest possible timeframe Assist in documenting and implementing SaaS billing procedures Produce and maintain daily reports and files Work across multiple applications and billing engines Interact with Sales teams, IT, Revenue and other internal groups as required to support the E2E process Provide suggestions to enhance processes and simplify operations Deliver on ad-hoc assignments as business requires What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like? The Custom Billing team is an integral part of Order-to-Cash Business Operations (O2C BizOps). We are a global team of 18 people located in India, Ireland, USA and The Netherlands. The team is headed by our Director based in Cork, Ireland and this role will report directly to her. As a team we are committed to upholding VMware’s EPIC2 values to maintain a supportive, collaborative and respectful team environment. Where is this role located? CORKFlexible: The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from the local VMware Cork office and remote depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined with your future manager.
