You will be responsible for and lead the strong team of the Bulgaria Systems & Security Lab to drive impactful near-term co-innovation in partnership with R&D business units, customers, and technology partners across the globe. As such, you get to choose and shape the path of new technology in a global Cloud market leader by strategically innovating & investing to accelerate new technology delivery to market.Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing? You will be able to enjoy a latitude of instruments in setting you up for impact:Go deep into VMware’s technology stack along your senior technical leads and product management to make the best investments in our internal incubation portfolioExpand existing partnerships and for new ones with other industry labs and academic institutions across different verticalsAbility to shape the regional strategy for engineering engagement in innovation and patents, as part of the extended site leadershipDeliver novel technologies that push the boundaries in the industryWhat type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
