Help our customers across the globe by advocating and walking an extra mile to provide effective and efficient solutions for their business reliable.Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing.Work as part of Global SRE Team on large enterprise engagements independentlyAct as a lead for VMware Cloud Foundation engagement deliveryAble to bring optimization and effectiveness in process and delivery of workProactive individual & Own team enablement & knowledge strengtheningCollaborate with Project Managers, Service Managers & PMOInnovate and implement service / solution automation Independently manage stakeholders & partners in project engagementsCommunicate at all levelsThe Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?Plan, Design and Implement seamless VCF upgrades of infrastructure and services through automation.Plan and Implement integration of extensible services and platforms of VCFEnsure compliance of the services with high security standards including inventory and access control monitoring and reportingMaintaining High Availability, Stability and Reliability of ServicesMaintaining optimization by implementing & deploying Automated SolutionsDevelop and maintain up-to-date, clear, and effective service operationsWork closely with development teams to improve maintainability and reliability of servicesOwn and provide proactive service support by participating in regular business callsIdentify, gather, analyze, and automate responses to key performance metrics, logs, and alertsUnderstanding of various 3rd party integrations with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and highlight any interoperability issuesDefine project requirements/issues/constraints with PMs / SMsTake ownership and accountability for individual deliverables.Flexible to work in a 24/7 rotational shift pattern.To be successful, you probably will have demonstrated some or all the following: · Excellent troubleshooting skills across many layers (storage, networking, hypervisor, OS) · Experience with VMware products such as VCF,Vsphere, NSX, VRSLCM and VSAN· VCP,VCAP,NSX,VSAN,VCF,CCNA,RHEL certifications preferred.· Work independently to resolve customer and team issues while assisting the management team in the team's overall development.· Leverage internal technical expertise, including peers, mentors, knowledge base, community forums and other internal tools. Being highly communicative and willing to learn and practice new communication methods. · Able to apply logic to a situation and able to work creatively when information may be disjointed or missing.· Take ownerships and provide World Class Support to our customers, Partners.· Partner with Engineering teams, field teams, customer success teams to provide wholistic and meaningful solutions.· Sharing your knowledge, be it with Knowledge Base articles, developing micro trainings for peers and customers, partnering with peers or spending time with a customer to increase their knowledge of VMware products.· Work in an environment that thrives on cross organizational collaboration, understands the critical nature of constant education and growth, highly skilled peers and a leadership team that is side by side with you as you develop and growWhat is the leadership like for this role?
