Search JobsJob DescriptionJob Description:The Senior Federal Consultant for VMware SD-WAN will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining SD-WAN solutions for Federal clients. This position will require U.S. citizenship and on-site work in the U.S. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network design and implementation, experience with SD-WAN, and proficiency in building topologies in SD-WAN solutions.**A mandatory secret clearance at minimum is required for this position**Why you will enjoy this new opportunity:As a Federal SD-WAN Senior Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology solutions in the IT industry. You will also enjoy the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, each with its own unique set of challenges and requirements.Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?Within the first 30 days:Complete onboarding and training to become familiar with our company's processes and procedures.Begin to understand our Federal clients' network infrastructure, operations, and security requirements.Shadow senior consultants in client meetings and presentations to begin building relationships and understanding their needs.Within the first 90 days:Successfully deliver first project engagement, meeting or exceeding client expectations.Learn and become proficient in additional technologies and engagements within the SD-WAN/SASE space.Expand your knowledge of additional SD-WAN technologies and engagements to provide more comprehensive solutions to clients.Continue to build your expertise in VMware SD-WAN, including security and optimization features, to better meet Federal clients' unique needs.Within the first 180 days:Establish yourself as a key team member, collaborating with colleagues to identify new opportunities for improving and optimizing client networks.Participate in knowledge sharing sessions with the team, sharing your experiences and expertise to help others improve their skills and knowledge.Continue to deepen your knowledge of our client’s network infrastructure, operations, and security requirements to serve their needs better.Within the first 360 days:Be recognized as a leader in SD-WAN consulting for Federal clients, leveraging your expertise to drive innovative solutions that meet their unique needs.Collaborate with the team to develop new service offerings and better enhance our current capabilities to meet our Federal clients' evolving needs.Participate in industry events and conferences to expand your knowledge and network with other experts in the field.The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing regularly?As a Federal SD-WAN Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for:Collaborating with our Federal clients to assess their network infrastructure, operations, and security requirements.Developing customized SD-WAN/SASE solutions that meet client needs, leveraging your expertise in VMware SD-WAN/SASE and other relevant technologies.Participating in client meetings and presentations to build relationships and understand their needs.Delivering high-quality consulting services that meet client requirements and exceed expectations.Continuously expanding your knowledge of SD-WAN technologies and best practices to provide the most comprehensive solutions to clients.Collaborating with the team to identify opportunities for improving and optimizing client networks.Sharing your experiences and expertise to help colleagues improve their skills and knowledge.Participating in industry events and conferences to expand your knowledge and network with other experts in the field.What is the leadership like for this role? You will also work closely with our leadership team within Professional Services.This position will perform work that the U.S. government has specified can only be performed by a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil, and therefore any offer will be contingent upon verification of both of these requirements.For US based candidates, the annual pay range (OTE for commissioned roles; Salary for other roles) for this position is: $130,000 - $234,000. The actual offer will be based on the role, location, and individual candidate experience. Bonus, commission, and/or equity may be eligible for this position.
