If you are looking forward to managing performance, coaching, and mentoring individuals, introducing efficiencies, driving improvements in key metrics, and engaging with your colleagues to deliver on some of the most innovative enterprise technology products, then this is the place for you.Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?Within 30 days of employment, complete all the onboarding formalities and mandatory learnings, understand various pillars of the WWBO team, their functionalities, their vision, and get trained on standard operational activities, hold regular one-to-one discussions with your direct reports.Within 60 days of employment, you will be introduced to stakeholders, coordinate a team of analysts in their daily transactional activity and associated work, assist with queries and escalations from internal and external groups get trained on booking processes.Within 90 days of employment, oversee timely and accurate processing of transactions and adherence to guidelines including SOX and export regulations, assist with hiring and onboarding process, continue to get trained on the booking process, Support the successful execution of Distributor closes and Quarter-ends, Act as backup for Team Manager when needed.Within 180 days of employment, you will build and manage relationships with sales teams, interact with cross-functional business, operations, and IT teams to support the order-to-cash process and related initiatives to improve and streamline processes.Within 360 days of employment, you will learn the E2E of booking process for various lines of business, provide suggestions and ideas that enhance processes, partner experience and simplicity of operations, deliver on ad-hoc assignments as business requires.The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?Take care of daily production and resource planning, work-allocation, escalation, and stake-holder management.Performance Management - Share Team productivity, conduct regular one*one monthly, provide constructive feedback, and discuss on individual development.Experienced in SaaS quote to cash operations.Contribute towards the process improvement which results in efficiencies and enhances customer experience.Consistently focus on achieving and exceeding the existing organizational KPI’s/Process Metrics.Challenge the status quo and identify transformational ideas and suggestions that improve operational efficiencies, partner experience, and simplicity of operationsCollaborate with cross-functional business partners, operations, and IT teams to support the order-to-cash process and related initiatives.Identify the resources to support key testing and RPA initiatives.Adoption to change management activity and handhold the Team during this transition.Work with Global teams spanning different time zonesDeliver on ad-hoc assignments as per business requirements.Support SOX Audits.What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?This role will report to the Senior Manager/Manager – Order Management based in India.The Order Management team is an integral part of Worldwide Business Operations (WWBO) and is made up of 140+ Individual contributors across 3 sites (India, US, and Costa Rica) along with 3 people managers responsible for managing order processing, project participation, operational efficiency, input and output quality, and new system implementation.The team works on a forward together approach and liaises with the multiple business partners and people leaders within the organization to deliver frictionless purchasing and consumption experiences for our customers, partners, and colleagues.Where is this role located?Flexible: The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from a local VMware office in Bangalore and remote depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined with your future manager. You will be expected to live within a reasonable non-daily commute of the office.
