Expand the growth and design the future Japan Solution Engineering organization and manage the complexity. Support a 15-20% YoY grow the overall contribution of the VMware Japan business to APJ to maintain and be around 35%. Transform & Expand the solution impact on deals / architectural presence within Cloud, App, Anywhere workspace transformation. Developing the Core SE/architect/advocacy function in alignment with market and business requirements / knowledge level. Manage the transition to SaaS/Subscription within the team and closely aligned to the BU div. , PSO , GSTS and influence the marketing message and future measurement of the SE role. Build relevant and strong relations across APJ and global related to enterprise focus and process. Build an inclusive and diverse organization with a phycological Safe culture and influence both culture, people development and business optimization beyond the Solution Engineering organization towards and architecture lead approach. Have a long forward looking perspective on how market and solutions will influence the success and development of the Solution Engineering Organization and influence beyond VMware Japan and APJ. Develop and own process around frameworks for improving our internal collaboration and measurement for the technical sales process and technical architecture. keep the current 13-18% growth the overall contribution of the VMware Japan business and look for Japan to go beyond 1B$ ( all in ) within the next 2-3 years with an aligned SE Org. 3 main focus areas , 1) Full Stack approach 2) Consumption Journey evolution 3) Architect Transformation.What is the leadership like for this role? Impact, Direction and Talent to be help welcome and guide our VMware APJ & Global Leadership.Ensure both outside in and inside out VMW influence and development of people and business is and established role but the transformation of VMware , teams size and complexity of the business will require development and innovation on newly emergent areas both on business, solutions and organization development.Beyond managing a large team and a very diverse set of industry verticals the solution introduction and architectural transformation within the majority of the customers are facing a large business model/IT transformation which this team will be responsible for supporting. Representing 30%+ of the VMware APJ business also require a broad and deep alignment with non technical / sales Div. within VMware Japan as well as corporate and our large partner eco-system outside of Japan.
