You will work closely with Sales Operations, Sales Finance and FSS (Finance system and solutions) to support the different sales divisions assigned to your scope. Within 90 days of in the role, you will fully own your designated BU’s and processes. Within 180-360 days along with the above, you will become a lead subject matter expert to enable continuous improvement for yourself, your peers and for the process. The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?The primary responsibility of the Senior Commissions Analyst is to ensure the most accurate calculation of variable compensation to be paid to the Sales Community members across EMEA GEO on a monthly basis, as well as partnering with different operational stakeholders for the P2P process.Provide business partner support to regional Sales Operations and Finance to assist in driving business results.Drive administration and implementation of financial controls to improve process effectiveness.Produce accurate and deadline-based deliverables related to plan deployment and payroll submission.Generate ad-hoc reports periodically and participate in ad-hoc projects as required.Drive the integration of compensation processes related to mergers and acquisitions.Apply financial, compensation or sales administration expertise to keep accuracy on the variable compensation processes.Use, develop and maintain different reports using advanced Microsoft excel skills.Be able to solve problems by adopting organization and time management skills.Clear up obstacles using strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Use excellent verbal and written communication in a daily basis.Manage an accurate administration of compensation by working with VBA and SAP Callidus.Handle cases with efficiency using HN tools.Participate in User Acceptance Testing.Train and mentor Commissions Analysts and develop back-up coverage plan.What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?The Commissions Finance Team is the key connecting point between Finance, Sales Operations, Global Incentives, and Field Sales teams. We are professionals with advanced analytical skills, solid understanding of the sales compensation cycle, very detail-oriented individuals, and experienced communicators. The Commissions Finance Team has worldwide responsibilities for managing the commissions plans and resulting earnings that get submitted to Payroll, administering the deployment of compensation plans to the Sales Field as well as consulting with the System Administration Team on the setup of the appropriate compensation framework.Where is this role located?Sofia, BulgariaThe role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from a local VMware office and remote depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined with your future manager. You will be expected to live within a reasonable non-daily commute of the office.
