As VMware’s Partner ecosystem continues to develop and evolve along with market trends and our customers’ needs, you'll be the one shaping the content strategy for EMEA, collaborating with key stakeholders in solutions and corporate marketing to define priority campaigns. You'll be involved in the execution of our flagship events and in building and maintaining communications plans. You will have fun and you'll not be alone: you will work with your direct report on execution.Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?The successful candidate will be a seasoned Communications Manager able to work closely with business stakeholders, build relationships and execute against their defined plan.The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?In your role you'll be:Defining content for our team of EMEA Partner Marketing Managers (PMMs) in the countries supporting execution at scaleCollaborate with key stakeholders in solutions and corporate marketing to define priority campaigns and assets that we would like VMware Partners to leverage. These campaigns need to be localized, packaged along with enablement kits and communicated to our field Partner Marketing Managers for adoption and executionResponsible for Partner communications and our flagship events. Building and maintaining a communications plan and corresponding content is key. Working with various agencies including PR, social media and digital media content creationThe EMEA Partner Marketing Manager has one direct report who manages complementary programsThese are the skills we are looking for you to be successful:Able to work closely with business stakeholders, build relationships and execute against their defined plan.Solid understanding of the EMEA IT partner landscapeExperience working in a matrix environmentSkills, confidence and gravitas to engage with, and influence partner organisations at the senior management level.Strong presentation skills with an ability to present VMware campaigns and events to internal and external Partner audiences.Dedication to providing prompt, reliable service and responsiveness.
