This position is part of the Global Accounts Strategy, Planning and Operations Team within the Global Accounts Sales Organization.You will be accountable for driving and improving all business processes within the organization, including planning, forecasting, business reviews, etc.With a unique blend of communication and process improvement skill, business insight, planning and compensation experience and big picture thinking you will be impactful with your influencing skills and your ability to collaborate with a large number of constituents within VMware.You will be accountable for coordination, standardization, and simplification of the Sales Plannings Process within the Global Accounts Sales Organization.Specifically, you will lead strategic projects with specific deliverables to improve performance:Within 30 days you will gain an understanding of the Global Accounts business and get to know the key members of the Global Account Leadership team and extended working teams and functional areas such as Operations, Finance, DMT, Recruitment, etc. You will understand the strategies of VMware and how this translates to the Global Accounts team and identify key challenges to address and priorities. You will work closely with leaders in Business Operations, Finance, and Sales to create efficiencies within Business Operations.Within 90 days, you will be get involved in the next planning cycle and have the opportunity observe, coordinate, and influence every step on the process.Within 360 days along with the above, you will be discovering new ways to drive improvements and proactively leading our teams to create efficiencies and pivot towards new challenges.The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? Process execution, efficiency, and scalability while ensuring strong financial controls and business partnering surrounding the Planning & Compensation Process at Global Accounts Sales Organization.Coordinate Sales Planning activities including scaling the process capacity and flexibility.Manage the Territory Realignment Process in preparation for compensation set up.Coordinate Field Quota Setting activities.Manage workforce mapping to compensation plans.Perform analysis and report on performance and special incentives.Establish and document procedures on underlying processes.Mange, streamline and automate the compensation plan roll out process.Providing direction to process improvements and establishing policies.Who are you?You embody our ‘EPIC2’ values - Execution, Passion, Integrity, Customers and Community.You are logically curious, interpersonal, customer focused and able to find the humor in situations tend to thrive at VMware.You possess proven experience in a technology company or related spaceYou have proven planning and compensation experience in high-reaching, ever-changing sales environment, preferably experience within technology sales.You possess excellent English, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate and interact with senior management.You have proven experience in process mapping and documentation is a must.You have strong excel and data manipulation techniques are necessary for the role.You can work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on approach and demonstrated ability to multi-task.You can work effectively with and across all levels of an organization of a very large and complex organization.What is the leadership like for this role?
