Which means your work is essential for transforming everywhere.Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?Within the first 30 daysYou will become competent with the VMware Telco Cloud Portfolio of products and solutionsYou will understand the technical challenges the solutions strive to solveWithin the first 90 daysYou will be working with the VMware Global Support team and VMware Professional Services team to understand current deploymentsYou will understand the deployed architectures and partner with SEBU Product Management and Engineering to develop and support reference architecturesYou will actively review customer deployments and create plans to address risks and concernsYou will play a key role in review of new feature functionalities and lifecycle managementYou will author sizing, deployment, maintenance, and support best practices guideYou will play a key role in integration of key strategic OEMsYou will design a repository of deployed architectureYou will be a key resource in driving restoration of services for Sev 1 SLAs Within the first 180 daysYou will have established yourself as a key asset driving reference architecture and standardize processYou will be an expert in SEBU products You will partner with Global Support, Professional Services and Product Management to provide and continuous feedback loop for product and process improvementYou will partner on how to continue evolving offerings to ensure market competitiveness based on learnings from key deploymentsWithin the first 360 daysYou will be focused on the horizon and defining changes and new offerings to the portfolio to accelerate VMware's leadership in Core network and RAN transformationThe Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?For our Center of Excellence, we are looking for a hands on technical engineer with Telco experience. You will have deep end-to-end understanding of mobile networking infrastructure, both the packet core and Radio Access Network (RAN). You will have cloud native experience and be up to date on the latest 5G cloud technologies including O-RAN and private 5G core. You are use to working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to change quickly. You will be both customer and partner facing, working with many different segments of the business. You can articulate the value proposition of our product portfolio and our platform clearly and at both a high level and deep technical level. You will bring valuable and real-time feedback based on customer and internal interactions contributing to the continued evolution of our solutions.What is the leadership like for this role?
