Search JobsJob Description*** This position requires fluency in both English and Portuguese****** The majority of work will be performed in Brazil ***Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?Within your first 6 to 12 months, you will be expected to meet the following performance outcomes:Develop trusted advisor relationships with customers, as demonstrated by the ability to design/develop effective solutions, educate customers on viable options and gain consensus across the customer organization and within VMware.Develop and lead best practice initiatives to develop our internal practice community, including artifacts, tools, processes, coaching and mentoring.Document and publish solution-based reference architectures.Achieve business outcomes by leading and collaborating with a wider project team or independently act as the overall solution technical lead.Take ownership and accountability for deliverables.Possess VMware certifications and demonstrate knowledge of TOGAF-based or similar enterprise architecture concepts.The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?As a Consulting Architect, success in this role will be built on your ability to:Lead technical projects related to consulting, designing and implementing end to end solutions. Articulate solution design, integrating both technical and business requirements.Lead enterprise architecture activities bringing together customers business goals and IT strategies and change programs, while gaining consensus from customer technical stakeholders on program direction.Communicate effectively with customers at C-level and senior executive level stakeholders and technical leaders.Work with project manager on project budget, resource planning and all aspects of efficient large program/project delivery.Manage customer and internal escalations, collaborate with VMware support and engineering teams as needed to resolve product and customer issues.Create intellectual property and high-level enterprise solutions designs while functioning as a resource for “Best Practices” and driving adoption of VMware solutions.Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with various stakeholders across VMware Professional Services and LATAM broadly.Solicit continuous feedback from multiple stakeholders and effectively communicate to product development.Lead in the development of our consulting service offerings as well as developing white papers and best practices.What is the leadership like for this role?
