Our industry-leading, trendsetting edge-to-core solutions provide the foundation for many of the world’s largest and most demanding networks that generate billions in service revenue for our customers.PIC Production Test Development EngineerDescriptionYour Key Responsibilities Would Include:Work cross-functionally with Test dev and production teams to qualify test stations for manufacturingDevelop, implement and document SW and HW tools to support rapid scaling of test station numbers and parallel production linesDrive continuous improvement in test capability and efficiency to meet requirements for PIC Development and Manufacturing.Work with Test engineers and technicians to increase Test hardware and software robustness and accuracyEducation / Experience necessary for successMS required and MS with 3+ year work experiences (preferred); Major in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or Applied PhysicsKnowledge / Skills /AbilitiesHands-on experience with remote controlled source-measure and motion-controlled equipment is essentialBackground of software development for electronic/mechanic/optical test automation is essentialStrong drive to automate recurring/time-consuming/error-prone manual tasks is essentialExperience with table top optoelectronic test equipment including tunable lasers, wavemeters, tunable filters, photo detectors is desirableExperience with active and passive photonic semiconductor devices like lasers, amplifiers, photo detectors, attenuators, waveguides, combiner/splitters is a plusAbility to work with other teams and groups and drive to completion are essentialAbility of developing leadership in manufacturing test sustaining is desirable#LI-SR2Infinera is an equal opportunity employer.
