Staff FPGA Engineer

You will join Infinera as a FPGA Engineer, as part of a FPGA team responsible for developing leading edge Optical Communication sub-systems.- Participate in product system-level requirement and architecture review.- Participate in hardware specification and schematic review.- Document and review FPGA design specification.- FPGA implementation including chip selection, pin definition, coding, simulation, synthesis and place & route.- Make test plan and test strategy.- Work closely with hardware/firmware teams to deploy high-quality product to customer.REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor/Master of Science (Electrical Engineering or relevant majors) with 4+ years experiences in FPGA or ASIC design.- Knowledge of the FPGA design flow.- Experience with FPGA application RTL design (Verilog, System Verilog, or VHDL).- Experience with one or more PLD vendors' (like Xilinx, Intel Altera, Microchip, Lattice, etc.) toolsets and chipsets.- Good simulation and verification skills.- Familiar with simulation tools, ModelSim/QuestaSim, or VCS, etc.- Good written and verbal skills in Mandarin and English.- Self-motivated, and good team player.- Experience on Xilinx UltraScale/Zynq-7000 series is plus.- Experience on high-speed interfaces (PCI-E/SGMII/XAUI etc.) is plus.- Background in optical/telecommunication is a plus.Infinera is an equal opportunity employer.
