Infinera is looking to hire a Software Engineer who will be responsible for escalated customer support issues and onboarding activities related to the Infinera TNMS management solution.Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:Handle customer issues which are escalated by internal customer support teams and drive them to closure. Investigate and root cause customer issues.Coordinate with s/w development teams for customer issues resolution.Work closely with internal customer support teams for understanding major and critical customer grievances. Formulate feature requests for the same.Design and develop SW improvements for better customer experience.Coordinate with Architecture and System Engineering for SW improvements.Develop customer specific applications to support TNMSSupport customer in-house tools that use API (RestConf, NetConf, gRPC, SNMP)Minimum Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:8+ years of experience with Infinera TNMS management solution.Highly motivated, result oriented and in-depth technical telecom management knowledgeStrong in analytical skills, problem solving, debugging skills and persistence to drive every issue to resolution.Must possess strong communication skills.Linux server experienceOpenSource toolsExperience scripting languages such as Python, Perl or Shell.Data-path protocols including SONET, SDH or OTN Network, L0/L1 Optical, and L2/L3 Packet protocols.Good to have worked on Optical Line Systems and various Infinera network elementsEducation Required:Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalentOtherHybrid position#LI-GA1#LI-RemoteInfinera is an equal opportunity employer.
