Your Key Responsibilities Would Include:Responsible for the development/sustaining, installation, documentation and support of the /Functional manufacturing test of Infinera’s electrical/optical telecom equipment products.Developing for board level testingDeveloping required test plans/specificationsDeveloping and supporting automated manufacturing test infrastructureDeveloping VB.NET based Software to automate the test executionDeveloping tools for fault isolation and identification capability to manufacturing technical staffResponsible for refining process and strategy to drive failures earlier and then out of the manufacturing processResponsible for statistical analysis of product test parameters and equipment measurementsWorking/partnering with test lead and other engineering staff to define and implement detailed testability requirementsKey member of cross functional NPI teamKey member of cross functional defect reduction teamResponsible for continual maturing of test infrastructureAble to work independently and prioritize tasks on a weekly/monthly levelKnowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:- Working experience in products with hardware, firmware and software elements- Practical experience defining test criteria based on product specification, error of measurement- Proven ability to develop automated test solutions and deploy to remote manufacturing locations- Knowledge of databases like SQL Server- Proficient in VB.NET/C#/C++ and Visual Studio 2013 or higher- Good at NI TestStand- The ideal candidate is analytic, detail-oriented, with great quantitative analysis skills, is self-motivated, able to pro-actively communicate with all employees and work well in a fast-paced environment- Excellent verbal and written communication skills requiredEducation & Experience Necessary For Success:- BSEE/CS or related field required- 5+ years minimum experience with telecom/data networking industry related manufacturing test developmentInfinera is an equal opportunity employer.
