The latest generation of Infinera’s digital optical network products, ICE6, delivers 800G with unsurpassed reach.  Next generation XR Optics pioneers point-to-multipoint pluggable optics with routable Nyquist subcarriers.Infinera is looking for candidates with these skills to fill the above roles:A strong understanding of optical components design, epitaxy, fabrication and component/system level tests.Strong background with semiconductor optical devices such as laser, detectors, modulators and other integrated waveguide devices.Use of optical and electronic modeling and simulation to design electro-optical devices, and lithographic mask specification, design and pattern generation.Fundamental understanding of optical communication systems, DWDM transmission systems, photonic integrated components, electronic (integrated) circuits, and signal analysis and processing.Ability to work with a large body of data and the necessary statistical analysis tools, and the ability to present the data and ideas to a diverse audience.Hands-on experience with high-speed optical and electrical test and measurement equipment control and data acquisition.Education and Experience: Ph.D in Electrical Engineering, Photonics or a related discipline with emphasis in optical communications and high speed optical components or M.S./M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering or Photonics, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.#LI-SR2Infinera is an equal opportunity employer.
