Non-CA Pay Range (Annual):-At Infinera, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. Your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Our industry-leading, trendsetting edge-to-core solutions provide the foundation for many of the world’s largest and most demanding networks that generate billions in service revenue for our customers.Role Responsibility Summary:This position will be responsible for optical development and validation of Infinera’s next-generation ICE transponder/muxponder line cards.  The individual will work with the cross-functional development team to integrate key optical components into the line card and validate the optical performance and robustness.  The person will perform bring-up, debug and design validation testing to verify the feature function and the system performance.Requirements The following requirements are expected for applicable candidates-          MS or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering or related majors-          0-4+ years optical engineering product development experience in the telecommunication industry required.-          Familiar with coherent optical communication technology, digital signal processing, and high-speed optical signal generation and detection.-          Familiar with standard industry design validation process and product life cycle-          Familiar with optical communication system and its linear and nonlinear impairments and tradeoff, such as cross-talk, OSNR, chromatic dispersion, PMD, SPM, XPM, FWM, etc-          Being able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.-          Good English communication skills-          Good people skills and a team player#LI-SR2Infinera is an equal opportunity employer.
