Will be responsible for design, test, validation, and release to production of devices containing digital, mixed-signal, and analog circuits for the telecommunications market. Duties may also include support of existing products and documentation.We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the team. Ideal candidate would have a master of science and minimum of 5 years of experience in a related vertical.Role SummaryDesign high speed mixed signal boards from conception through production, includingImplementation according to architecture requirementsCreating and maintaining functional specificationsSchematic designWork closely with mechanical engineers, FPGA designers, and PCB layout engineersPreparing and running HW bring up and verificationDefine production test requirements and provide manufacturing support as necessaryDevelop and execute DVT plans to ensure high-reliability field deploymentSupport product through pre & post-production releasesAbility to work with HW teams in other development sites review design schematic, EDVT reports, and share lessons learned as neededRequired Qualifications MS degree in electrical engineeringExperience with board-level hardware design, including schematics, logic & signal integrity in any of the following areas:Onboard DC/DC power supplies, ~distribution, and ~sequencing, LDOs, hot-swap circuitry, connector selectionMicroprocessor digital circuit design,High-speed I/O, and clock termination and skew control/compensation techniquesARM-based processor platforms, mainly FPGA SOC basedHands-on experience with electrical test and measurement equipment including power supplies, digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and traffic analyzersUnderstanding of PCB fabrication, fab & assembly design rules, and product integration with mechanical componentsKnowledge of Cadence Concept and Allegro is considered a plus.Good writing and communication skills (English) required – German, Hindi, Mandarin is a plus.Ability to work with cross-functional teams (SW, FW, Optical, Architecture) in a global setup; across multiple time zones is a plus.Infinera is an equal opportunity employer.
