Come take a look at Infinera!Brief Description:The Deployment Logistics Analyst will interact with internal and external partners at all levels and will work with other members of the Service deployment, Legal/Trade compliance, Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and Shipping Departments on a variety of logistics and trade compliance related activities to ensure the support of Infinera business goals.  This role requires successful administration of a broad range of responsibilities in a multitasking environment.Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:Managing the complete logistics needs of cross-country/region projects in EMEA and APACPreparation and control of domestic and international import/export deliveriesInventory management in a network of warehouses (AMS, UK, EMEA) - (EMEA – Europe, middle east and Africa)Supporting sales activity by providing cost calculations (Freight and storage cost, VAT, Duty, IOR cost) Delivery lead times, IOR solutionsReviewing logistics-related matters of customer contracts during new contract preparationManaging Global Suppliers (Freight Forwarders, IOR partners, Inspections, and certificate service) - PO creation and invoice controlBringing new partners on board, establishing their customs authorizations (POA)Subject matter expert on Trade issues (Incoterms, Trade Compliance, Import/export regulations, IOR)Process development, preparing KPI reports, and various analysisExport License application in the UK, lead Export control auditProvide guidance and coordinate import/export related activities with all functional areas.Develop and maintain processes and related SOP’s to ensure compliance with import and export laws and regulations.Manage outsourced partners to assure performance of critical transportation functions to support Infinera's operations.Assign and schedule carriers to transport shipmentsProvide proactive customer service support to both internal and external customers.Monitor scheduled progress of shipments by direct inquiries to carriers or through web access of carrier tracking dataLeverage 3PL/4PL relationships to facilitate shipment of raw materials and finished productSupport Special projects as assigned.Minimum Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:5+ years of experience in Export trade compliance with a high-   tech company5+ years of experience in Logistics/Transportation industryWorking knowledge of Export Administration RegulationsEducation Required:BA/BS degree requiredCustoms Broker License a plusPreferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent presentation and report writing skillsAbility to work cross-functionally and collaboratively and with a sense of urgencyFlexible, hardworking team player and motivator including strong people skillsExcellent soft skills including influencing and conflict resolutionAction and results orientedAbility to quickly adjust priorities to meet business needsCritical thinking and excellent problem solving and analysis skillsCapable of multitasking and prioritizing with excellent time management skillsDiplomatic under stressCapable of working independently on own initiativeAbility to identify and resolve Customs related issuesWorking knowledge of EAR and FTR requiredInfinera is an equal opportunity employer.
