Our Sales Directors/Managers are a vital part of what we do and will be key in the launch and growth of our new business/product, etc. Imagine being part of a team that is fundamentally changing the way people communicate, and the way they collaborate.JOB DESCRIPTIONDevelopment Plans and contribute to the objectives, plans and operational framework.Overall responsibility for the strategy, objectives and sales plans for the regionMeet and exceed sales targetsOverseeing the “customer lifecycle” to ensure a best-in-class approach to the customer experienceWork with Product Line Management to define product and market requirements and solution designLeading, managing and motivating the local team to ensure that:Sales targets are met and exceeded.Complex sales methodologies are applied in key deals, with full stakeholder analysis.The Infinera portfolio is fully leveraged.Reporting and forecasting is accurate and completed within SFDC in a timely manner.There is effective collaboration across the other sales teams (e.g. Solutions Sales, Enterprise & Public Sector) and with other enabling functions (Marketing, Services, Commercial Management, Legal, HR, PLM etc).Evangelize the value proposition with customers and partners.Effectively manage any channel conflict in collaboration with the other sales leaders.Collaborate with Marketing to drive the creation and utilization of sales collateral, demand generation programs, and other campaigns that drive customer revenues in identified segments and territories.Ensure clear and timely Challenger account plans are in place for all key customers and reviewed by all relevant stakeholders on an ongoing basis.QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREDExtensive experience in telecommunications consulting, services and/or salesEnthusiasm for, and ability to strongly evangelize, Infineras value propositionGood organization and motivation skills for associated team membersExcellent Communication SkillsAbility to work independently as well as in a team, pro-active, flexible with high customer and service focusComfortable to present and discuss solutions at CxO levelPersonal seniority to handle CxO contacts and high-level local administrationGood level of financial and business argumentation skillsGood network with major carriers in the target regionStrong expertise in in packet optical transport solutions (optical networks, Ethernet and IP solutions), ideally with background on Infinera solutions and productsVery good knowledge on optical and data networking (Transmission, MPLS-TP, IP/MPLS, L2VPN / L3VPN, PWE and Ethernet switching)Familiar with OSS and SDN technologiesGood understanding of Product landscape from different vendorsFluent English & Japanese - Written & Spoken Education:Ideally Masters in Management and/or degree in Engineering with additional degree in Business or equivalent experience in senior Business/Sales roles#LI-GA1#LI-HybridInfinera is an equal opportunity employer.
