The Program Management Leader will lead the global Program Management Office (PMO) and drive operational planning, managing, tracking, reporting, communication, and execution of key programs across Infinera’s components and modules organization. Leading the PMO team requires both strategic and tactical approaches to ensure we deliver value on time. The PMO leader is required to lead and demonstrate the standard Program Management methodology across all team members, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and consistency. They will interact with multiple stakeholders and executive leadership team throughout the program lifecycle.Direct key strategy and planning initiatives at the executive level and support strategic work with and for key stakeholders across functions.Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of programs.Works with stakeholders to ensure program scope definition meets business objectives.Proactively engage with cross-functional stakeholders to identify interdependencies, resolve issues, and champion revenue-producing initiativesWorks with executive team and finance to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with business objectives.Directs the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including executive management, on a timely basis.Directs the identification of risks which impact program delivery and ensure mitigationNegotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors, manage resources. Drives discussions for annual budget planning and quarterly business reviews, including reporting out on risk assessment and program impact. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience with 5+ years of management experience or running a Program Management Office (PMO)Experience leading large global technology initiativesExperience in optical industry a huge plusComfortable navigating tough situations, balancing priorities and managing constraints while running sophisticated, fast-paced, programsSelf-starter with the ability to successfully navigate situations with a varying degree of ambiguity with a bias for actionAbility to effectively manage multiple competing priorities and can rapidly turn around work product – experience working under pressure on the executive levelConfidence to provide dissenting views when appropriate AND excellent interpersonal skills with ability to lead, interact with, focus, negotiate, resolve conflict, and drive consensus among individuals from a variety of cultures and disciplinesHighly adept at influencing upward and downward without direct reporting relationshipHigh attention to detail; Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written; ability to present at all levelsExperience leading a diverse group of individuals, with different experience and skillsets, and experience leading both full-time employees and contingent staffCertification in project/program management a plus#LI-JP1Infinera is an equal opportunity employer.
