The Commercial Manager is a primary support function in the Global Business Operations Organization that prepares business cases (i.e., pricing and terms and conditions) necessary to produce proposals for customers.  This position works intimately with the sales team as well as several internal organizations to ensure opportunities are thoroughly reviewed and escalated for approval to the appropriate levels.Commercial Analysiso Utilizing commercial management tools to support the deal analysis (i.e., Anaplan, CPQ, SFDC, etc.)o Reviewing pricing requests within the established SLA response time and working with the sales team toaddress any inconsistencies, errors, etc.o Proposing commercial responses (pricing and terms) with the objective of obtaining a balanced winning strategymaximizing revenue and profitability.o Driving profitable business growth by looking to continually improve margins and commercial terms.Pricing Guide Managemento Defining price strategies in close collaboration with PLM and Services.o Conducting price benchmarking analyses to ensure competitiveness.o Evaluating the most suitable and cost-effective solution. Commercial/Legal Single Point of Contacto Aligning with contract subject matter experts (i.e., legal, finance, revenue technical, services, PLM, etc.)o Modifying and counter proposing acceptable terms and conditionso Implementing contracts upon completion into SFDC (i.e., SFDC Contract Module and associated Meta Data)o Partnering with the sales team to complete commercial point-by-point responsesDeal Approval Managero Distributing approval requests to Tier 1, 2, or 3 as per guidelineso Determining deal assessment that warrant Tier 1 that will “move the needle” based on strategic accounts, dealsize, gross margin, T&Cso Responding via email within 24 hrs for Tier 1 (PC) approvals to be sent after meetings.o Documenting all required approvals in Anaplan and CPQ/SFDC.Qualifications Minimum 10 years of relevant experience Bachelor’s degree; MBA degree a plus Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce.com, SharePoint. Strong experience and working knowledge in telecommunications. Specificrequired experience in sales, business management and operations with strong analytical and communication skills. Deep understanding of all facets of a large corporation, including sales, services, finance, product management, businessoperations, marketing, etc. necessary to create commercial offers. Highly organized and detail oriented. Provide excellent customer service to the sales team and customers. Exceptional time management and communication skills. Ability to be highly productive with minimal oversight from management. Bilingual fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese.Infinera is an equal opportunity employer.
