Join us on a mission that matters - one team, one fight.About The RoleCrowdStrike is seeking a Senior SMB Product Marketing Manager to drive our iconic brand by focusing marketing strategy, content and awareness directly to the small to midsize business vertical while driving acquisition of new logos with a customer centric approach. In this role, you’ll be managing the messaging and content across web, social and materials presented by sellers and at events. We are looking for passion in the cybersecurity space, strong creative and marketing acumen, and a collaborative attitude. What You’ll DoDevelop and enhance understanding of the SMB decision maker and IT target audience by gathering insight about target personas, challenges, buyer needs and the purchase decision processAbility to translate core product messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences.Content Creation: Develop fresh content including collateral, thought leadership assets, solution presentations, website content, videos, blogs, by-lined articles, and more to build market awareness, generate demand, and accelerate the buyer’s journey.Drive an audience-centric marketing approach within the organization, ensuring that messaging, content and campaign strategies and tactics are centered around customer buying needs, pain points, and personas.Develop and socialize marketing plans, sales enablement plan, and content creationPartner with marketing peers to produce and write relevant content for target buyers across the buyer’s journey, including blogs, webinars, datasheets, guides, etc.Serve as market-facing subject matter expert (SME) for the product portfolio and interface with industry analysts as the company representativeDevelop competitive comparisons for use in positioning solution against similar offerings from other vendorsDevelop customer stories, testimonials, reviews for external and internal useDrive upsell and cross-sell strategies for the product portfolioMonitor and report on the performance of the sales and marketing efforts What You'll Need7+ years of experience in cybersecurity or technology product management (PM) or product marketing management (PMM) or similar roles — B2B SaaS experience is preferredBachelor’s in business or marketing preferredStrong writing skills and the ability to create and shape verticalized messagingExperience with the Small and Medium Business (SMB) cybersecurity market through content campaigns and eventsProduct management and/or digital campaigns experience a plusAbility to conduct market, competitor and customer research to gather insights and assess market opportunitiesAbility to create compelling and effective value propositions and messagingAbility to link product launches to vertical audience driven contentCritical thinker with strong writing, communication, presentation development and delivery skillsStrong business acumenStrong influencing skillsCreative and innovativeEmpathetic to buyers, customers, users and sales resourcesHighly collaborative, able to work across functional teamsExperience presenting webinars Bonus PointsHigh-tech, start-up, rapid growth and/or publicly traded company experience.You must love our business.
