Join us on a mission that matters - one team, one fight.About the Role:You’ll be working closely with GM of Falcon LogScale and will be responsible for executing an aggressive growth plan and commercial success of LogScale product line. You’ll help grow and expand an existing team of product managers who work closely with peers to deliver highly scalable & fast Security Log Management capabilities for our customers.As a Director of PM, you’ll guide the strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and delivery of our LogScale offerings and the overall LogScale experience within Falcon Platform. You’ll leverage your in-depth knowledge of the Observability, SIEM and Log Management markets to help deliver meaningful capabilities to our customers. This role is a management position, requiring you to handle team organization, workload management, recruitment, and professional growth for your team members. You’ll also be a doer: we’re early in our Falcon LogScale journey, so you’ll be hands-on in planning and executing against key growth initiatives and go-to-market activities. You’ll help foster an open and collaborative environment and support systems to help your products and your team succeed. You will work closely with engineering, data science, product marketing, sales, support, and other product managers. The successful candidate will have the ability to interface and influence cross-functional teams throughout the company.This role is open to candidates remotely in the USA, but has a preference to candidates on the East Coast. What You'll Do:Work closely with GM of LogScale to drive 10x growth in ARR in next 3 years through various strategic and tactical initiatives including build, buy partner strategies to win in Security log management and IT observability space.Engage with customers, sales, executives, and others to determine and get buy-in on strategy, prioritization, and execution.Grow and support a PM team focused on Falcon LogScale business.Engage with sales, marketing, and support to champion recent releases and guide future product direction.Conduct competitive analyses and maintain current information regarding competitive activity.Work on a team of high-performing product professionals in a very collaborative environment.What You'll Need:8+ years of related product management experience, with significant experience in Log Management, Observability, and/or SIEM.Experience with and solid knowledge of datastores, cloud data storage, cloud platforms, containers, and operating software in large-scale enterprise deploymentSeveral years of experience working as a director-level PM role in a large, fast-growing organization.Eagerness to split time as a people manager and as a direct PM lead for key initiatives.Documented experience vetting options for product direction, planning short- and long-term strategy, and gaining organizational buy-in.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to properly translate and articulate positioning and technology.Demonstrated ability to collaborate with peers in research, engineering, and product marketing.Strong quantitative and business analysis skills.Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams.This position requires up to 20% travel to customer and CrowdStrike locations worldwide.Bonus Points:Can drive technical requirement discussions around query language, search performance, deployment architecture, log ingestion, parsing and data managementComfortable working in a very cross-functional role, with a highly distributed, global teamExperience with both SaaS and self-managed product offeringsDirect experience with Splunk, Elastic or other leading log management stack#LI-SS1#LI-MW1#LI-Remote#HTFBenefits of Working at CrowdStrike:Remote-first cultureMarket leader in compensation and equity awardsCompetitive vacation and flexible working arrangements Comprehensive and inclusive health benefitsPhysical and mental wellness programsPaid parental leave, including adoption A variety of professional development and mentorship opportunitiesOffices with stocked kitchens when you need to fuel innovation and collaborationWe are committed to fostering a culture of belonging where everyone feels seen, heard, valued for who they are and empowered to succeed.
