We are looking for those eager to bring in best practice processes, take on problems, and streamline AP operations. This role will act as an escalation point in resolving complex outstanding issues with internal and external business partners. The successful candidate will have a strong desire in innovating processes and exceed expectations in a dynamic fast-paced environment.Job Responsibilities:The lead will be a key leader and driver, a self-starter and pivotal member of the AP Team. The person will be playing a critical role in shaping the strategic objectives of the team and driving ownership of key deliverables across business organizationsServe as end-to-end functional owner for accounts payable, including process definitions, policies, implementation, etcAdopt organizational transformation strategy, lead delivery with a shared vision and transparency, and develop a strong team of operational excellenceManage all day-to-day group workload, develop, build on the existing processes, define procedures and policies with strong focus on Controllership and ComplianceDrive a continuous improvement ethos to identify process improvement and/or business opportunities, and communicates with the internal leadership team Maintain a strategic relationship with all the BU/functional Leaders from time to time to understand and eliminate pain points while representing the SSC payables teamMonitoring and driving performance metrics (including target of 100% of on-time vendor and employee payments), establish and meet KPI’s managing quarterly or annual performance targetsThe successful candidate will demonstrate achievement in driving success, developing, coaching and mentoring team members, exhibit strong interpersonal, communication skills and business partnering across all levels within the organizationSupport in preparing and delivering business presentations (business reviews, performance metrics) and analyze reportsEnforce adherence to tax requirements.
