Job Requisition ID #22WD66556Position OverviewThe Distribution Sales Manager will manage assigned Channel Distributors for AUTODESK, and drive sales of Autodesk products and services to ensure that sales goals are exceeded. He/she will be responsible for the overall relationship and manage all the points of contact to ensure these Channel Distributors have a full understanding of AUTODESK strategies and solutions for developing long standing relationships and to build a joint go-to-market model covering all the standard areas of Channel Partner Management. In addition, to drive non-ADSK-managed channel partners sales of Autodesk products and services with Channel Distributors to ensure that sales goals are exceeded, include new channel partners recruited.ResponsibilitiesPrimary responsibility for this role is to drive sales through their managed Channel Distributors and to drive non-ADSK-managed channel partners sales of Autodesk products and services with Channel Distributors to ensure that sales goals are exceeded, include new channel partners recruitedAct as liaison between the Distributor and Autodesk in order to facilitate effective two-way communication and to ensure common vision, strategy and the right investment both in capacity and capability by the partner. Further liaises with the Client Sales, Finance and Legal to ensure our back-office teams support adequately our business with distributorsLead setting Channel Distributors strategy, territory plan includes open distribution program and CR/NCR management, Go-To-Market plan, resource/invest plan and forecasting revenue, and capable to actively manage Channel Distributor’s opportunity, understanding, monitoring, and reacting to where is against year-to-date revenue, reporting on any significant trends, and responsible of business updates through regular Quarterly Business Reviews at senior levelsLead key relationships with members of Channel Distributor, and ensure appropriate executive mappings are in place, and spend majority of their time with Channel Distributors to become an integral part of their team and business, to execute aligned plans and to gather and prioritize issues impacting successCapable to clearly articulate AUTODESK strategy and drive certification initiatives in support of AUTODESK Strategic growth. This includes providing Autodesk products, solutions, and services trainings, and driving Channel Distributor capabilities through certificationDevelop territory overall partner ecosystem by leading VAD to recruit capable industry or local channel partners in assigned territory with intensive business coaching to VAD sales/TS and closely collaboration with LC, TS and Marketing team to ensure territory sales goals achievement or exceededPartner with channel enablement manager, TS, and CS to drive customer success activity enhancement and scale best practice, specific for longtail businessCollaborate with Autodesk Marketing team to ensure and facilitate Distributor's early development of Marketing plans which are in line with Autodesk sales objectives, Coordinate Marketing efforts to leverage use of material and resources along with Autodesk Marketing team.
