Senior Financial Analyst, APAC and Japan

Job Requisition ID #23WD67299Position OverviewWe are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated finance professional to join the Go To Market Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst, reporting to the Financial Analysis Manager. The position is primarily focusing on existing and evolving financial metrics (from core billings and revenue measures to subscriptions-related) consistent with Autodesk’s overall business goals. In addition, this individual will focus on strategic analysis and ad hoc projects supporting the WWFO APAC and Japan team. This position will interface with the Sales VP, Sales Finance Director, and Finance Business Partners in addition to acting as a key interface to Sales Finance HQ. The right candidate will possess strong aptitude for financial planning and analysis, building and delivering reliable, accurate and timely financial data, modeling and analysis, and being able to understand and articulate business impact beyond numbers. Technically sound, passionate for process improvement, organization savvy, detailed oriented but also able to think strategically, you must demonstrate critical thinking, excellent analytical and communication skills and ability to work proactively with key stakeholders in a highly collaborative environment, manage tight deadlines and always open for changes and the ability to be flexible as needed.ResponsibilitiesPartner closely with key stakeholders (Sales VP, Sales Finance Director, Regional Finance Business Partners and HQ Finance) to provide analysis as requiredBuild robust financial reports in PowerBI and Excel to help support business decisionsRun the weekly forecast and reporting cycle for APAC:Collect the forecast from the regional Finance Business PartnersConsolidate the overall forecast and tell the APAC storyReview the forecast for reasonableness and accuracyTrack and report the performance vs. forecast to APAC Leadership TeamProvide strategic and tactical support on annual budgeting and planning processDeliver accurate and insightful quarter end executive reporting and presentationsLead and participate in cross functional projects to drive efficient processes and systems, sharing best practices to help teams across all geosAssist the global Finance Systems Team with:Scoping & DesignUser Acceptance TestingRollouts across teams in Japan and APACMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s in Economics, Finance, Math, Statistics, Engineering or Business equivalentMinimum of 5+ years of Finance Planning and Analysis experience preferredExperience building reports and dashboards in PowerBI and ExcelHands on experience with systems such as Anaplan, Qlikview, SalesforceThe Ideal CandidateCommunicating and collaborating across functions to achieve team goalsInnovating; understanding complex data sets, converting them into user friendly reportsAbility to turn data into actionable insights; Create innovative solution to solve problemsMaking a positive impact through passion and a sense of urgencyTaking responsibility for the tasks at hand and being accountable for both good and bad resultsEmbracing change: adopting a ‘growth mindset’ to experiment, learn from mistakes and continuously improveJuggling tight timelines: being resilient, staying calm under pressure and prioritization are key#LI-POSTAt Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
