We are looking for a passionate individuals who can make a difference to the Autodesk Foundation PlatformResponsibilitiesBuild and run Autodesk platform servicesWrite code that is tested, readable, and maintainableEngage in technical discussion and decision making to shape the future of making thingsParticipate in on-call rotation to support production systemsCollaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements, understand use cases and build towards a cohesive technical strategyMentor and empower engineers around youContribute to all aspects of software development from architecture to design to estimation to development to testing and releaseDevelop, debug and build automated tests for various programming assignmentsContribute to improvements in processes and deliverables that increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the team in responding to customer and business needsDesign infrastructure, deploy, monitor and maintain large-scale production applications to comply with service level agreementsMinimum Qualifications8+ years of relevant professional experienceExperience as a technical leader and mentorExcellent hands-on Java programming skillsStrong experience designing and implementing high quality REST APIsStrong experience building apps on AWS using services such as S3, DynamoDB, IAM, EC2, Kinesis and LambdaPreferred QualificationsImplemented and operated one or more high scale APIs that handles at least 25k RPSExperience with object oriented design patternsExperience with continuous refactoringExperience with agile software development practicesExperience with Spring bootExperience with scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, Node.js, or BashExperience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormationExperience with CI/CD concepts and working with a deployment pipeline such as JenkinsExperience with NoSQL databases#LI-POSTAt Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
