This position will report to our Indirect Tax Senior Manager based in Dublin and will be embedded virtually with our global team. We are seeking a candidate who will help drive a culture of accountability and excitement within the tax team, who enjoys coming to work, has a growth mindset and enjoys learning new technologies.The Indirect Tax Technology Specialist will help steer the strategy and course of our Indirect Tax technology function to ensure we establish efficient and effective end-to-end management of tax compliance and reporting processes across Autodesk.ResponsibilitiesEnsuring Autodesk is well prepared for the ‘digitization’ of tax managementReview changing legislation and regularly provide updates to the wider tax department and other key stakeholders and changes in relation to Digital Tax rules, e-Invoicing, Digital reporting, VAT regulation changes and other areas of interest for the indirect tax teamResponsible for the design, build and deployment of low-code & no-code technology solutions e.g., RPA, Alteryx or SAP related automationsDevelop your knowledge of US Indirect Tax laws that apply to the business and keep up to date with changesContribute to the North American compliance process, working closely with existing team members with responsibility for Sales Tax, Business License, Property Tax and Canadian indirect taxesContinually supply new ideas and challenge assumptions around what is possible to ensure that we set and achieve stretching targetsDefine process performance metrics and to ensure these are delivered across end-to-end processMinimum QualificationsA minimum of 2 years of experience automating tax accounting processes2 – 4 years’ experience in indirect tax, project management, and ERP / tax / billing implementation projectsProfessional qualification – CTA required and accounting preferredStrong project management skills with experience of meeting deadlines and prioritizationStrong analytical skills and problem-solving abilityExperience training management and staff on new systemsA broad range of tax process and control experience across a wide range of territoriesClick below to learn more about our benefits in the US.https://benefits.autodesk.com/ At Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $97,300 and $157,410. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
