Job Requisition ID #23WD67971Position OverviewAutodesk is seeking a motivated and experienced software engineer to join our Connected Delivery platform team. This platform is responsible for providing products and their updates to the customers and we are in mist of a transformational project. You'll be responsible building new and enhancing existing APIs to ensure it scales with the growing demand, is highly available and impact millions of users.ResponsibilitiesDesign, code, test, debug and document new and existing components to ensure that software meets business, quality and operational needsBuild high quality code by developing both unit and integration testingParticipate in code reviews to ensure new code conforms to highest standardsCollaborate with peer organizations, dev ops, support organizations on technical issues and provide guidanceInterpret and translate business needs to technical requirements and accurateResearch and drive adoption of new technologiesWork with team to troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficientlyFocus on scalability, security and availability of all applications and processesContribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable and maintain softwareContribute to risk identification and risk mitigation strategies associated with theExcellent technical problem solving skills and aptitude to learn new technologies and methodologiesRespond on rotation basis to escalated incidents after hours or on weekends to ensure 24/7 availability of our platformMinimum QualificationBS/MS in computer science or related technical fieldOver 5 years of professional experience developing scalable, distributed applicationsPart of a large distributed team with significant responsibilityStrong experience in object-oriented programming with languages like Java 8+Broad experience with Spring boot frameworkExperience designing and building RESTful APIs using Microservices architectureExperience working with containerization technologyBroad knowledge of AWS and databasesStrong experience with building cloud-based API platforms or backend systemsStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred QualificationsStrong experience with Amazon Web ServicesExperience working in CI/CD environmentExperience with containers build using DockerAt Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
