Job Requisition ID #22WD65931Position Overview As a Customer Success Insights Analyst, you are responsible for providing analytical expertise to support key strategic and operational initiatives for our Customer Success Organization. Analysts use a range of statistical methods, algorithms, and analysis techniques to advise business leaders on strategy and identify opportunities to optimize business processes, customer experiences, and offerings. You will work closely with business stakeholders to distill your analysis into actionable insights and recommendations.The team you will join: Commercial Customer Success.In Commercial Customer Success, we drive growth through irresistible customer experiences. For us, growth is two things: A focus on increasing retention and renewals rates and identifying opportunities for expansion to pass to our sales partners. Irresistible customer experiences start with a focus on helping customers achieve business outcomes by engaging directly with customers, and partnering with resellers, to identify and mitigate customer risk in post-sales engagements. With Resellers, we are accelerating customer retention performance and revenue growth by developing and maturing their Customer Success and Services practices. As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to work on initiatives that impact Commercial Customer Success overall, as well as the specific functional area that you support.ResponsibilitiesServe as an analytics business partner – supporting business stakeholders with in-depth analysis, continually mining for insights to drive operational improvements Conduct research from problem definition through execution of analysis. Highlight potential areas of concern for senior management based on your analysisAssess impact of business strategies and provide clear articulation of analysis to support decision making for senior managementExecute sophisticated qualitative and quantitative analyses, including advanced modelling, that translate raw data into insights that can be turned into actionable recommendations and built into reports and dashboardsAct as the data subject matter expert for the area of the business you support – understanding dataset structure, data quality, and appropriate analysis use cases Understand existing metrics and data models and identify and document areas for improvement to contribute to the overall Autodesk data infrastructure Minimum Qualifications3-5 years Relevant Work Experience in the data analytics fieldExperience in a similar role and/or a degree in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related fieldProficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries and working with large data setsWorking knowledge with visualization tools (BigQuery, Tableau, Looker, Qlikview, etcHave experience working with a modern data warehouse (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar)Experience with statistical computing languages like Python (statistical and data manipulation packages)Microsoft Power BI Certification is a plusExperience supporting Customer Success or Renewals organizations is a plus The Ideal CandidateYou are pragmatic - you use common sense to solve problems in efficient ways and commit to quality deliverablesYou’re a true data ninja – you can creatively mine multiple disparate datasets to glean insights and answer business questionsYou are relentlessly curious - curiosity fuels your use of problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skillsYou want to understand customer success – you’re not just satisfied with building a cool model, you also want to make sure it’s relevant in the fieldYou tell compelling stories using data – you weave together a narrative based on your analysis of what is happening in the business, why it is happening and why it matters and can present your findings to both experts and general audiencesYou are a business partner – you are communicative and empathic with stakeholders and business leaders to determine how to best answer their questions through analysisAt Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
