Job Requisition ID #23WD68737Position Overview This is a Technical Program Manager position for the Platform team within the Product Design and Manufacturing Solutions (PDMS) organization. This team defines and builds the software platform that the Fusion 360 family of products is built upon. The mission of the group is to drive developer productivity, device independence and consistency. We are on a multi-year journey to disrupt the Design to Manufacture world with Fusion 360 by delivering un-precented value and converging workflows with cloud-based technology. We are rapidly combining many world-leading technologies and teams into the Fusion 360 family.   The Technical Program Manager will help our Platform service teams deliver our vision with high transparency and efficiency by driving collaborative, cross-organizational, programs that enable scrum teams to manage their inter & intra-dependencies. The ideal candidate is adaptable, self-motivated, and eager to solve problems with both curiosity and tenacity. They are strong communicators, comfortable with ambiguity, and passionate about helping teams be successful in identifying and achieving goals.  Responsibilities Hands on, end-to-end, Program Management from design to deliveryLeverage DevOps experience to lead programs that elevate the platform’s reliability and resiliencyDrive alignment of cross-organizational initiatives through planning, dependency management and impediment removalEngage business stakeholders (e.g., Product Management, Go-to-Market, etc.) to maintain strategy, priority, and requirements alignmentUtilize technical acumen while facilitating discussions between technical stakeholders (e.g., Engineering Leads, Product Owners, Architects, etc.)Assist with the adoption of platform technologies, standards, and best practicesWork with technical stakeholders to build clear, Agile, plansUncover, understand, and track platform dependencies and commitmentsProactively pursue delayed dependencies and escalate impactsDrive risk identification, analysis, and mitigation to address potential roadblocksServe as communication focal point on complex programs Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline, Computer Science or a related field 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Technical Product Manager, or Product Owner  3+ years working on DevOps programs Extensive experience working with business and technical on highly complex initiatives involving multiple software engineering teams, in a fast-paced environment, using Agile methodologies Good technical background and aptitude, detailed driven and have excellent problem-solving abilitiesProficient in cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS or GCP) Possess a basic understanding of code quality and related metrics with some exposure to test automation Developed or maintained effective Incident Management processes Ability to communicate effectively with a broad audience Zeal for process and operational excellence Ability to leverage technical tools to scale programs and solutionsExperience with Jira and Confluence  Desire to continue to learn and challenge yourself  Able to travel as required (less than 25%)  Preferred QualificationsPossess solid technical expertise and business acumen, and the ability to impart a sense of urgency and influence your leaders and peers Is proactive in stakeholder management and establishing relationship with end-users Enjoys operating as ’equal partners’ with Product Mangers, Product Owners, Engineering Leaders, and Architects Are responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment Has software programming and scripting experience The following certifications will be considered a plus: Scrum Product Owner, Cloud Security, Incident Management/Response, Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) #LI-POSTAt Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
